Factory Girl

Factory Girl is my favourite movie and has been a large influence in my personal life in regards to how I dress and things I like to do. I love and admire Edie Sedgwick and the whole lifestyle of '70s New York. Warhol wanted people to think of artists as "art businessmen" and that their lifestyles should be akin to those of big-shot socialites. And he has helped overturn the notion of the artist in people's mind. The movie's ingenuity is remarkable. I have watched it so many times I known each word by heart and have the soundtrack on my iPod.

Some days I am Edie Sedgwick.
